He was an official government photographer that captured historical moments in Israel. In 2000 he lost his son in a car accident while the son was serving in the IDF. This tragedy also didn't shut his heart and he turned his camera towards the 'simple' life in Israel that is less spoken and shown. The movie is shown from the perspective of his son, a cinematographer that is dealing with poor eyesight.
